Add the ability to import ifc 4.3

At present, Synchro 4D does not support the import of IFC 4.3 files. As IFC 4.3 is becoming an increasingly important standard within the infrastructure and construction industry this limitation creates inefficiencies in our workflow.

Currently, we are required to downgrade or convert IFC 4.3 models to earlier schema versions (e.g., IFC 2x3 or IFC 4)

Could you please:

  • Confirm whether IFC 4.3 support is planned in a future release?

  • Indicate any expected timeline for this feature?

  • Suggest any recommended best practices or interim solutions for handling IFC 4.3 within Synchro 4D?
