The website is very complex, and not easy to manoeuvre, difficult to use generally. The product is labelled differently in different places. The website does not allow me to view and control my users, and we have subsequently totally removed the software from all our laptops as a result. When we use the software, we are then blamed for "additional" usage, and billed accordingly. When we email Bentley, there seems to be a total lack of understanding of what we are complaing about. This is simply not acceptable and unprofessional. Bently needs to simplify this for end users. Currently your website is totally chaotic.
Bentley is a nightmare. Every time I go to log on there is an issue. Deadlines missed and it's been happening for years. Getting worse, not better.
After spending 3 days of purchasing Plaxis still dont understand how to find is via the links provided and install it on our machins. Every single page provides a different direction. Software is called differently at different locations. The whole Bently system has been designed for big organizations who have IT depts and intranets. Its very frastrating for a small business of 2-3 people to spend this much of time and still not being able to download and use the software. There should be a single software installation page provided to customers when Bently sells their software. A terrible experience so far.
I came in for "Easy" power. One license. One user. I should just go online, see the plan, pay online, and download the software. Not need to reach out to a reseller and then have them give me the links and then wait for a license. Then not get any emails, but need to call in to find out I need to assign a license, but I am not the administrator, but there is no administrator because it's just me, so I become an administrator so I can get a license so I can check out the license, but I have to check it out on a computer, but the computer needs a name, but the name is not in the list so I need to put it on a list. That is just so far. Still a week in and no software.
LOL, these comments posted 2 yrs ago and I have no clue how to manage my software purchase.
I agreed with every other comment in this thread. I too have wasted literally hours trying to find the right path to drill down to do simple account management stuff. It often takes 3-4 guesses to figure out which tile to click to do what you want. Having to scroll through 18 screens of software to find the 5 products you actually own is ridiculous. And I still can't figure out how to see how many seats of a product we have, or whether something newly-purchased is accessible yet.
Website is extremely complicated; things are hard to find. I have spent about 1-hour looking for information on when I need to renew my licenses. PLEASE simplify things or the love of God.
In the Entitlement Management area I should be able to see a column that has the Downloads available for all of the products that I have in my portfolio, not look it up here and then search for it and not find it because the name changed. It should be simple to see what you have licenses for and download the product right away.

I agree. A company landing page that shows what software we have licensing for would be very nice.
I agree, this website is practically unusable. I spend up to 30 minutes clicking myself in circles to find basic features because things are arbitrarily buried in other screens for no reason. All features of the Bentley site should be reachable from a single central page with clear and concise categories. I shouldn't have to contact support just to find details about my installed user base.
I also despise using this area. I understand the concepts but documentation like so much is a needle/haystack hunt but WORST of all is finding the HIDDEN places where you can actually make changes. And, they're not obviously named in all cases. Terrible UX UI
Totally Agree... I dred having to do anything in this site. It makes you waste needless hours to do arguably simple administrative task. The info you want is always hidden in some obscure place or requires ui maneuver to access it.

Thanks for your feedback. We do have plans to re-design Entitlement Management to make it easier to accomplish the tasks you need to do for Access control and threshold alerting configuration.
